You can watch NFL football for free with an NFL Sunday Ticket trial on YouTube TV. This is possible because NFL Sunday Ticket is now available on YouTube TV through a seven-year agreement between Google (YouTube’s parent company) and the NFL. YouTube TV is offering a seven-day free trial, although it covers only one Sunday’s worth of games.
With the trial, you can watch out-of-market games, condensed game replays, and custom highlight packages. However, local games will still require your regular TV channels (subject to any blackouts).
NFL Sunday Ticket Free Trial
To get the NFL Sunday Ticket free trial, go to the NFL YouTube page and sign up from a desktop or mobile browser. You should see the option for a seven-day free trial before completing your registration. Keep in mind that YouTube mentions the trial is rolling out gradually, so if you don’t see the option immediately, try again later.
There are some important details to consider before signing up for the trial. You won’t be eligible for the trial if you choose a monthly subscription, have an already discounted student plan, or if you’re an existing or former NFL Sunday Ticket subscriber. These are standard terms and conditions.
After the free trial, if you already have a YouTube TV subscription, NFL Sunday Ticket costs $349 for the season, or $389 if you want access to NFL RedZone. YouTube is currently offering a $50 discount on either package until Tuesday, Sept. 19, so sign up before then for a reduced price.
If you want NFL Sunday Ticket but don’t have YouTube TV, you can subscribe through YouTube Prime Channels. This will cost you $449 per season, or $489 with NFL RedZone included. Thankfully, YouTube is also offering a $50 discount on these packages, making the current prices $399 or $439.
