RCB vs GT: Last year, a new cricket league called the Women’s Premier League (WPL) started, and it had teams like Mumbai Indians Women, Delhi Capitals Women, Gujarat Giants, UP Warriorz, and Royal Challengers Bangalore Women. Second Season Begins

This year, the league started on February 23, and five games have already been played. The teams are the same, and Royal Challengers Bangalore Women and Mumbai Indians Women are doing great, winning both their matches.

RCB Women’s Fielding Woes

In a recent match between RCB Women and Gujarat Giants, RCB’s fielding was talked about for all the wrong reasons. They dropped catches and missed run-out chances, making it hard for them to stop the runs.

Missed Opportunities

One particular moment grabbed everyone’s attention. A batswoman from Gujarat Giants, Hemalatha, hit a shot towards long-off. It seemed like an easy catch for RCB’s fielder, Shreyanka Patil, but she dropped it. Hemalatha managed to grab two runs in the meantime.

The Drama Continues

But the drama didn’t end there. The fielder managed to hit the stumps at the bowler’s end with the ball, but it hit Sophie, the bowler, before reaching there. This confusion allowed Gujarat Giants to sneak in a third run, much to RCB’s dismay.
