Novak Djokovic, the famous tennis player with 24 Grand Slam wins, had a playful moment at the Ballon d’Or 2023 ceremony in Paris. He decided to have some fun with YouTuber and social media sensation IShowSpeed. This YouTuber is well-known for his admiration of Cristiano Ronaldo, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

During the event at the Theatre du Chatelet, IShowSpeed got the chance to meet Novak Djokovic but didn’t recognize the tennis star. He asked Djokovic for his name, and Djokovic, instead of revealing his true identity, decided to have a little fun. He told IShowSpeed that he was a new star for AC Milan, a popular football club. IShowSpeed was puzzled and asked, “Hey, what’s your name? You look so familiar.”

At the Ballon d’Or ceremony, the prestigious award went to Argentina’s national team captain, Lionel Messi, for an astonishing eighth time. Other notable winners included Aitana Bonmati of FC Barcelona Femeni, who received the Ballon d’Or Feminin award. Additionally, Erling Haaland and Emiliano Martinez were honored with the Gerd Muller and Yashin Trophies, respectively. The Best men’s club award went to Manchester City, while FC Barcelona Femeni received the Best women’s club award. It was a star-studded evening with many sports legends in attendance.
