This incident occurred during the fifth over of Australia’s chase, following a verbal exchange between Azmatullah Omarzai and Mitchell Marsh.

Rashid Khan, the Afghanistan spinner, also got involved in the conversation with Warner, who was conversing with Marsh. Warner seemed displeased with Rashid’s intrusion into their private chat, leading to a confrontation on the field.
