Rashid Khan, the Afghanistan spinner, also got involved in the conversation with Warner, who was conversing with Marsh. Warner seemed displeased with Rashid’s intrusion into their private chat, leading to a confrontation on the field.

It’s worth noting that Warner and Rashid had previously played together for the SRH franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) from 2017 to 2021.

As for the match itself, Australia was facing a challenging target of 292 runs, which would be their highest successful chase in a 50-over World Cup game if achieved. At the time of this writing, Australia was struggling at 169-7 after 30 overs, with Glenn Maxwell and Captain at the crease.
