David Warner, the famous player of the Australian cricket team, was born on 27 October 1986 in Paddington, East Sydney. His father’s name is Howard Warner and mother’s name is Lorraine Warner. David made his international debut in January 2009 in a T20 match against South Africa during the tour of Australia. In his first match, he scored 89 runs in 43 balls with the help of 7 fours and 6 sixes. He also scored the second fastest half-century in a T20 match.

He scored his maiden Test century against New Zealand in the same series, scoring 123 not out in the second innings. He was banned for one year from international cricket following a ball-tampering incident following his joining in March 2018.

In March 2018, David (along with Steve Smith) was accused of ball-tampering during the third Test of the series against South Africa. Cameron Bancroft apparently tampered with the ball, and it was later revealed that the team’s management had prior knowledge of the action. Cricket Australia launched an investigation, and David was found guilty of the charges.

In March 2018, David was banned from international and domestic cricket for a year and captaincy for the rest of his career.

On 4 March 2018, as both the Australian and South African players were returning to their dressing rooms at tea on the fourth day of the First Test in Durban, Warner and Quinton de Kock exchanged ugly comments on the stairs. Following the incident, based on video footage, the ICC fined Warner 75% of his match fee and awarded 3 demerit points. While de Kock was fined 25% of his match fee and given 1 demerit point.

On 9 June 2013, hours after Australia lost an ICC Champions Trophy match at Edgbaston, Warner attacked England’s Joe Root in the early evening hours at a Walkout bar in Birmingham. Following the incident, the Australian cricket team took strict action against Warner, saying that Warner would be fined £7,000 (AU$11,500) and miss the rest of the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy and tour matches. Warner defended his action by saying that it was Joe who was mocking South African batsman Hashim Amla that prompted Warner to do so.
